What kind of sessions do you offer?

I specialize in dance portraits, high school senior portraits, and family sessions across Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Carlisle, Harrisburg, and the surrounding Central PA area. Every session is natural light and usually outdoors, in a spot that feels like you. Whether you're a dancer wanting to capture your artistry, a senior marking this milestone, or a family who just wants photos you'll actually love, I'd be honored to document this season of your life.

What's the difference between a mini session and a full session?

They're really two different experiences. A full session is an hour or more, fully yours, and we plan it together from the ground up, the location, the vibe, what to wear, all of it. A mini session is short and sweet, offered only a couple of times a year on dates I set, usually a handful of slots on a single day in the spring or fall. Minis don't include the planning consult and the dates aren't flexible, so they're perfect if you want something quick and seasonal, while a full session is the way to go if you want the whole experience tailored to you.

How do I book a full session?

Every full session starts with a consult, and it's one of my favorite parts. Before we ever pick a date, I want to get to know you, who you are, what you love, what you're hoping for, and talk through what to wear and where we'll shoot. Just reach out through my contact page and we'll set up a time to chat, usually a quick video call. Once we've connected and planned, we'll choose your session date together.

Can I book a mini session anytime?

I wish, but no, and here's the honest reason: minis only happen 2-3 times a year, on a few set dates I choose, and the spots go fast. The best way to never miss one is to join my VIP list. My VIP friends are the first to hear when minis are coming and get first pick of the limited slots before anyone else. So if a mini is what you're after, hop on the VIP list and I'll make sure you're the first to know.

How do I get on the VIP list?

Just click VIP in the menu above and you're in. You'll get early access to mini sessions, first pick of dates, special events, and the occasional note from me. No spam, just the good stuff.

How much do sessions cost?

You can find all of my current session pricing on my Portraits page. I keep everything there so it's always accurate and in one place. If you have questions after taking a look, just reach out, I'm always happy to talk it through.

What should I wear?

This is one of my favorite things to help with, so please don't stress about it. I love talking through outfits with every client, thinking about the season, your colors, and what makes you feel most like you. We'll plan it together as part of your session, and I'm always around to help you pull it all together.

I'm awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?

More than okay, it's completely normal, and you do not need to know how to pose. Truly. My whole approach is built around helping you feel relaxed and like yourself, and I'll gently guide you the entire time. Most people who tell me they're awkward end up loving their photos. That's kind of the whole point.

How do I pay?

I accept payment through PayPal or Venmo, and checks on a case by case basis. I'll walk you through all of it when we book, so it's simple and clear.

When will I get my photos?

Your full gallery is delivered within a few weeks of your session, and it's always worth the wait. You'll get a beautiful online gallery to pick from, plus special access to your private Print Shop Boutique. There you can make sure to get those gorgeous images from your phone to the walls in your home.
